Ross Castle, Connemara

We were so delighted to be a part of Kate + Kevin’s wedding celebrations. When we originally spoke with them, the plan was to head up to Sligo, however Covid had a little more involvement than hoped for, so they decided to keep it local to Kate’s family home in Barna, Galway. 

They got married by Kate’s great uncle, who has married pretty much everyone in the family, so for a mostly untraditional wedding day, there were a few incredible odes to family history. 

We then headed up to the breathtaking Ross Castle, in Connemara – Galway overlooking Ross Lake. They have extensive grounds and even a walled garden we got to wander through for their couple portraits. Ending the evening in the ‘vaults’ for dinner and emotional speeches.
So happy that these two special folk got to enjoy a special day, with special friends and that we got to be along for the ride.
